Partnership with the Center for International Affairs
Contribution
The founding leadership of the Center for International Affairs announced that the New York-based nonprofit organization, an emerging NGO, plans to cooperate closely with untogo.org during Togo’s term as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
“Togo, a nation known for its diversity and stability, has consistently based its foreign policy on an active participation in multilateral cooperation,” said Center President Jonathan Braun. “Thus, the leadership of the Center looks forward to working closely with untogo.org to raise awareness of the mission and accomplishments of the U.N. Security Council in general and Togo’s contributions to the UNSC in particular.”
The Center for International Affairs is being organized to increase awareness and understanding of issues of interest and concern to the international community. The organization will seek to clarify complex problems in order to identify solutions and foster dialogue and discussion between and among constituencies and audiences across the globe.
“One of the Center’s distinguishing strengths will be its ability to draw on leaders from many different fields, including media and finance, in addition to diplomacy and academia, to build bridges of friendship and cooperation with Togo and all forward-looking, democracy-loving nations around the world, “ Mr. Braun said.
